The Experience Pays Awareness Strategy is a Queensland Government initiative that aims to encourage employers to recruit, retrain and retain mature-age workers.
Despite an ageing workforce and forecasted skills shortages employers are still overlooking a large group of potential employees – workers aged 45 years and over.
However, there are some employers out there who are already benefiting from the skills, experience and reliability their older workers bring to their businesses.
